Q: What is the minimum age to take part?
A: The minimum age is 8 years old.
Q: What is the minimum/maximum height restriction?
A: There is no minimum height, however for those who are not able to see over the top of the turrets, these can be removed and the tanks can be used as normal. Maximum height is 1.93m (6’ 4”).
Q: Will I be driving a tank at the same time as my friend?
A: Participants take it in turns to drive the tanks around the track and each participant’s start time is staggered to avoid running into each other along the track.
Q: Is there something for my friends to do whilst waiting their turn to drive a tank?
A: There is a viewing area adjacent to the track where waiting participants can take photos/videos.
Q: How many goes/laps will each participant get within the session time?
A: It is difficult to say as it depends on the speed at which each participant is going around the track. Each participant has an equal go at driving the tanks. Some may take longer than others to get the hang of driving so each individuals time is based on their competence.
Q: Do I have to pay a deposit?
A: A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required at booking to secure the date and time and the balance is payable no later than 7 days prior to your event. However, please note, you may be asked to pay in full at the time of booking.
Q: Do I have to pay for any extras on the day?
A: There are no hidden costs to play. Smoke grenades are available to purchase on the day by ‘over 18s’ only as well as SD Cards for a small additional charge. If you have ordered food and not paid you will need to have suitable cash available on the day of the event.
Q: Can I just turn up without booking?
A: No, all sessions need to be pre-booked unless advertised.
Q: What should I wear?
A: Camouflage overalls are provided to wear over your clothing, however you will be required to wear suitable footwear for outdoor activities. We run our activities in woodland and there is uneven ground and trip hazards.
Q: Is food and drink provided?
A: Complimentary drinks are provided. You may bring your own picnic food with you or you can order pizza. We can provide you with the contact details of the local pizza shop and they will deliver to site. You will need to contact them directly in advance to arrange delivery and payment. Please advise if you are bringing your own picnic food/ordering pizza and the relevant number of places will be reserved in our picnic area. All food and drink, as well as any rubbish generated by the party must be removed from site. We are happy to provide bin bags for this.
Q: Can I bring a birthday cake?
A: Yes, by all means.
Q: Is there an indoor eating area?
A: Our picnic area is outdoors, however we have army tents on site to shelter your party from the elements if needed.
Q: What happens in bad weather?
A: Unless weather conditions are deemed hazardous by our staff, rain does not stop the tanks. In fact, rain may add to the fun as it can create muddy areas to drive through! Group organisers will be informed as soon as possible in the event of unsafe conditions.
Q: Do I have to stay to supervise my children?
A: Yes. All children on site must be supervised. Although participants will also be supervised by staff, at least two adults must stay onsite. Any children not taking part must be supervised at all times.
Q: Is there somewhere I can sit and watch?
A: Yes, there are viewing areas around the site.
Q: Is there car parking?
A: Yes, free car parking is available on site.
Q: Are there toilet facilities available on site?
A: Yes, we have a portable toilet on site.
Q: Can I bring my dog to the site?
A: Yes, dogs are allowed on site as long as they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times. Any dog mess must be cleaned up and taken with you when you leave the site.
Q: One of the participants has a disability, can they still take part?
A: It depends on the nature of the disability. Safety is the prime requirement and we try to be as inclusive as possible.
Q: Can I get a refund if one or more of the participants in my group does not turn up on the day?
A: No. Staffing levels are determined by the number of places booked for any given event. It is possible to add additional participants to a booking either on or before the day of the event but, no refunds will be given for no shows on the day.
