Q: What is the minimum age to take part?
A: The minimum age is 14 years old.
Q: Will there be others booked in at the same time as me?
A: Yes. Our activities are run as group sessions. There will be a minimum of 6 participants in any given session and up to a maximum of: 10 participants for our Archery & .22 Air Rifle Shooting sessions, and 8 participants in our Archery, .22 Air Rifle Shooting & Axe Throwing sessions.
Q: Can I use my own bow and arrows during the session?
A: No. You will be provided with a bow and arrows for using during the session.
Q: Do I have to pay a deposit?
A: Full payment is required at the time of booking.
Q: Can I just turn up without booking?
A: No, all sessions need to be pre-booked unless advertised.
Q: What should I wear? Participants should dress sensibly for the outdoors and the weather on the day.
A: Long sleeved top or jumper and comfortable trousers. Warm waterproof clothing and gloves depending on the weather Wear suitable footwear for outdoor pursuits. We run our activities in woodland and there is uneven ground and trip hazards.
Q: What happens in bad weather?
A: Unless weather conditions are deemed hazardous by our staff, our activities continue to run. Participants will be informed as soon as possible in the event of unsafe conditions.
Q: Can I bring friends/family to watch?
A: Yes. We have viewing areas on site and participants may bring up to 2 spectators each. All children must be supervised by a non-participating adult at all times.
Q: What happens if I arrive late for my session?
A: We ask that participants arrive 15 minutes earlier than their booking time and to allow plenty of time for their journey. Unfortunately, if you arrive late, you will not be allowed to participate as you will have missed the Health and Safety briefing.
Q: Is there car parking?
A: Yes, free car parking is available on site.
Q: Are there toilet facilities available on site?
A: Yes, we have a portable toilet on site.
Q: Can I bring my dog to the site?
A: Yes, dogs are allowed on site as long as they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times. Any dog mess must be cleaned up and taken with you when you leave the site.
