The idea
Big groups, handled properly
We run school trips, scout and guide groups, cadet units, youth clubs and activity camps, often forty or fifty at a time. The site is built for it.
Weekday pricing is where schools do well: a flat £180 buys an hour of archery, axe throwing or rifle shooting for up to ten young people, and the combo rates bring a full three-hour rotation down to £45 a head. Laser tag takes up to 60 at once, so an entire year group can play together.
Every instructor is DBS-checked, we are fully insured for every activity and age group we accept, and risk assessments are available for your paperwork before you visit.

Popular choices
Age determines what is available: laser tag from 6, mini tanks from 8, and the target sports from 12. Target sports run any weekday. Laser tag and mini tanks are weekend activities for public bookings, but we can open midweek for your group as a private hire.

Are your instructors DBS-checked?
Yes, all of them. We are also fully insured for every activity we run and for every age group we accept.
Can you provide risk assessments?
Yes. Risk assessments are available on request and we will send them across before your visit so you have them for your paperwork.
Which days can we visit?
Target sports run on weekdays and weekends, and weekdays are considerably better value for a group.
Laser tag and mini tank driving run at weekends for public bookings, but we can open midweek for school and group visits as a private hire of the site. Tell us your dates and we will work around them.
How large a group can you take?
The laser tag arena holds up to 60 people at once. Target sports run in groups of up to 10 per activity, so larger groups rotate across the ranges.
What are the minimum ages?
Laser tag from 6, mini tank driving from 8 (minimum height 1.3 metres), archery, axe throwing and rifle shooting from 12, and Hyper Shock from 14.
Is weekday or weekend better value for a group?
Weekdays, clearly. On a weekday a single one-hour target sports session is a flat £180 for a group of up to 10, versus £30 per person at weekends. The two- and three-activity combos bring the per-head cost down further.
Is there parking for a coach?
Yes. We have plenty of free parking right in front of our reception area, and it is sizeable enough for minibuses and coaches. Please search “Leisure Matters” in Google Maps rather than using the postcode, which sends drivers to the wrong place.
