What to expect
You will feel every hit
Standard laser tag tells you that you have been hit. Hyper Shock makes sure you know about it the moment a beam lands.
The effect on gameplay is immediate. People stop strolling into the open. Cover suddenly matters. Teams start communicating properly because nobody wants to be the one taking the hits.

Please read before booking. As a safety precaution, Hyper Shock is not suitable for anyone with a heart condition or a pacemaker, anyone who is pregnant, or anyone with epilepsy. Book a standard laser tag session instead — same games, same kit, no shock.
On the day
How the session runs
Brief and kit
Full safety brief, then you are fitted with the Hyper Shock pads and laser rifle. We explain exactly what the shock feels like first.
Play
Two hours of mission-based games: team deathmatch, capture the flag, domination, capture the general and more. Respawns are instant and ammo is unlimited. The only limit is how much shock you can take.
Compare notes
Regroup at the undercover picnic area and argue about who took the most hits.

What it costs
All prices include equipment, instruction, the Hyper Shock pads and your safety briefing. There are no extras to pay on the day.

Common questions
Does the shock actually hurt?
It is designed to be startling rather than painful, a short sharp pulse that makes you flinch and then laugh. It is completely harmless, which is exactly why the minimum age is 14.
Why is the minimum age 14?
The shock feedback is not suitable for younger players. If you have under-14s in your group, book them onto a standard laser tag session instead, as the two can run at the same time.
How many people can play?
We have 16 Hyper Shock sets, so 16 is the maximum. There is no minimum, so any group size is welcome.
Can we do Hyper Shock on a weekday?
Not as a standard booking — Hyper Shock runs on Saturdays and Sundays. We can however include it in a private hire of the site on any day of the week, so if you need a midweek date just ask and we will quote for it. Call us on 01344 286577.
Can we combine it with standard laser tag?
Yes. Both can run in the same arena at the same time. Just remember that the arena holds 60 people in total, so your Hyper Shock players count towards that number.
Who should not take part in Hyper Shock?
As a safety precaution, Hyper Shock is not suitable for anyone with a heart condition or a pacemaker, anyone who is pregnant, or anyone with epilepsy.
If any of those apply, please book a standard laser tag session instead. It plays exactly the same games with the same equipment, just without the shock feedback.
